Morgan Pressel won her match over Anna Nordqvist 3 and 2 and earned the winning point for the US win to keep The Cup. The US Team is undefeated on US soil for The Solheim Cup.

Day 2: The US Team ties 6 to 6 with European Team after the morning Four-Ball matches. After the Foursome matches the US Team is tied again 8 to 8 with the European Team.

The US Junior Team wins the 2009 Junior Solheim Cup that was held August 18 - 19 at the Aurora Country Club, Aurora, IL. The US team won 15 1/2 to 8 1/2 over the European team. View recap.
The PING Junior Solheim Cup is a biennially event that features the 12 best female junior golfers (ages 12-18) from the United States against the top 12 junior girls from Europe. Nancy Lopez served as the US Team's Captain and Carin Koch, Team Captain, for the European Team.
